A graphical navigation bar, sometimes called a menu bar or an image map is a clickable image that move you to different pages depending on which part of the image is clicked on. Thoug image maps are often implemented using CGI or javascript, this version uses the ISMAP, HTML attribute supported on most browsers. (The HTML to use, will be mailed to you along with the graphic.) Background and Textcolor Colors Select the background and foreground (text) colors by clicking on the color swatches displayed. The default background color is Netscape gray and the foreground color is black. Type of Navigation bar Just as the name suggests, the vertical bar will run from the top to the bottom of the window and the horizontal bar will run across the window. By default this has been set to horizontal. Page and URL Enter the title or name of the page you are linking to in the page field. Enter the URL (the address) of the page in the corresponding URL field. Vertical bars look better if they are rectangular, but long page names make them take on a square shape. Longer page names also forces the character sizes of horizontal image maps to be smaller, in order to fit them all. For example if you have a What's new page and the filename is new.html, type What's new in the page field and new.html in the URL field. If you wish to link to a page on another site (this for exmple ;-)) type Free Navbar in the page field and https://members.tripod.com/~raditha/navform/ in the URL page. Your Name, Address and site Since the image and the HTML code is sent by Email, your Email address is required. However this information will not be given out to anyone.
